DETAILED DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Visit www.hcmsummit.org/slides.
  2. Click a faculty member's name.
  3. Wait as a new page opens with a PDF version of the slides.
  4. Use the detailed instructions below--based on your device and browser--to save the PDF to your device.
  • Google Chrome - In the upper right-hand corner of the page, click the download (downward arrow) symbol. In the resulting pop-up window, rename the file if you'd like to, choose the folder where you'd like to save it, and click the SAVE button.
  • Internet Explorer - Hover your mouse over the bottom border of the page. A grey menu bar will appear. Click the save (floppy disc) icon on the left-hand side. In the resulting pop-up window, rename the file if you'd like to, choose the folder where you'd like to save it, and click the SAVE button.
  • Firefox - In the upper right-hand corner of the page, click the download (paper with downward arrow) symbol. In the resulting pop-up window, rename the file if you'd like to, choose the folder where you'd like to save it, and click the OK button.
  • Safari (iPad) - In the upper right-hand corner of the page, just below the tabs bar, tap the screen. A dark bar will appear. Choose "Open in iBooks" and the PDF will automatically be saved to your iBooks account under the "PDF" library. (*If you prefer another program--Evernote, DocsToGo, iAnnotate, iCloud, GDrive, Kindle, Dropbox--choose that program instead, follow the steps, and, in most cases, click the UPLOAD button.
  • iPhone - Tap anywhere on the page. A bar will appear at the top saying "More...". Click that bar. From the pop-up window, we recommend the "Save PDF to iBooks" (orange) icon to automatically save it to your iBooks account under the "PDF" library. If you prefer another app--Evernote, DocsToGo, iAnnotate, iCloud, GDrive, Kindle, Dropbox--choose that program instead, follow the steps, and, in most cases, click the UPLOAD button.
  • Android (Tablet & Mobile) - Tap anywhere on the page. A bar will appear. Click the three vertical dots and then the "Download" (arrow) button. The file will save to the "My Files" folder (Samsung) or "Download Manager" (other Android). If you would prefer to save to another program (GDrive, etc.) choose that program, follow the instructions, and click the UPLOAD button.
